Description
A stemmed goblet of heavy-gauge brass, hand decorated with a floral scroll running around the body and a band of paisley near the rim and foot. North India, third quarter of the twentieth century.
The cup was originally silver plated. The plating has now rubbed away across most of the surface, leaving the warm brass exposed, with remnants of silver still visible inside the bowl.
Height approximately 13 cm (5⅛ in).

Condition
