A letter opener nicely formed from light fruitwood in a form typical of Jerusalem workshops, its blade carrying a calligraphic inscription: Qudus Sharif, قدس شريف, “Holy Jerusalem.”
It measures approximately 23 cm (9 inches), and dates to the second quarter of the twentieth century.
