An engraved map of the Black Sea under its classical names, The Palus Maeotis and Pontus Euxinus, the Sea of Azov and the Euxine, engraved by J. Rufsell for J. J. Barthélemy's eight-volume Travels of Anacharsis the Younger in Greece.

Published by J. Mawman, in the Poultry, London, 1805. The sheet traces the shorelines of present-day Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Crimea, Russia and Georgia, drawn for a reader following an imagined ancient traveler through the Greek world.
