Description
A 1914 Indian Head Buffalo nickel struck at the Philadelphia Mint, which carries no mint mark. The obverse bears the Indian head portrait with the legend LIBERTY and the date 1914; the reverse shows the standing buffalo above FIVE CENTS, with E·PLURIBUS·UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
The coin is struck in the standard alloy of 75% copper and 25% nickel. It is offered ungraded; the high-resolution images are the best guide, and collectors are invited to judge the grade for themselves.
