A Graflex Speed Graphic in the 2¼ × 3¼ inch (6 × 9 cm) format, made by The Folmer Graflex Corporation of Rochester, New York, circa 1943. Cameras of this size are known among users as the "baby" Graflex, the baby Graphic, or the "23" Graphic, the compact sibling of the press camera that defined an era of American photojournalism. Body serial number 24455.
It is fitted with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 1:4.5 115 mm lens, with apertures from f/4.5 to f/32, in a F. Deckel-München Compur-Rapid shutter, serial number 5390872, offering speeds of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 of a second plus B and T.
